Communications Manager/Chronicle Editor (Executive Board - Ex-Officio)
Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers Election/Term of Office: This is not an elected position but one which is appointed by the President for two years. An Editor designee will be identified during the second year of the current Editor's appointment.
Reports to: President Primary Function: To plan, edit, and produce the Chronicle, which is the official newsletter of the organization.
Major Responsibilities:

To edit and produce four editions of the Chronicle. Approximate dates of the issues are as follows: December, March, June, and September (this issue will announce those nominated to fill officer vacancies within IACRAO).

To prepare publication guidelines, including calendar, and submit to the Executive Board.

In conjunction with the Professional Activities Officer, prepare articles which will provide updates regarding issues related to admissions, records, registration, and higher education in general.

To seek out, prepare, or edit articles regarding state/district activities or about individual members who have obtained some personal achievement or contributed to the overall mission of IACRAO through published articles, papers, presentations, or other professional activities.

Along with the Treasurer, Past Treasurer, and Treasurer-Elect, properly respond to all inquiries/questions received via the official IACRAO email account(s) on behalf of the organization.

Along with the President, Past President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Past Treasurer, and Website Manager, responsible for the administration of the MemberClicks system (approving Listserv notifications, updating the system, etc.).

To attend all meetings of the Executive Board. This will require travel to the meetings which will vary in location. Expenses will be paid by IACRAO. There are three to four meetings each year.

Bring archival material to the conference Executive Board meeting (or as needed) for submission to Archivist.
